Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy applies to our customers (“Users”), merchant partners and rider (“Ka-Get rider”) partners , contractors and service providers (collectively “you”, “your” or “yours”).

Please review this Privacy Statement carefully. By using our Services you consent to the use and sharing of your personal information as described in this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree with these practices, please do not use the Services, or otherwise provide us with your personal information.

Your access to and use of our Services are subject to our Terms and Conditions, which define some of the terms used throughout this Privacy Statement.

I. Collection of Personal Data

We collect the following information you voluntarily provide to us:

First name and last name, email address, date of birth, address, mobile number, telephone number, user image, social media profile information (ie. from Connect with Facebook, Sign In), and credit card/ or debit card details.

We obtain government issued identification from our Ka-Get riders and vehicle Information (plate no, model, ORCR of vehicle).

We obtain government permits and bank information from our merchants.

We collect location (GPS), camera (Pictures), IOS Device (UDID) and Android Device(Android ID).

II. Purposes for collecting personal data of Customers

  1. Complete user profile or registration
  2. Validate bookings
  3. Verify identity through various means (such as social media logins, submission of User images or independently verified payment card information). Social media login information shall not be stored beyond this purpose.
  4. Processing of payment to Paymongo, GCASH or other third-party payment gateway.
  5. Improve the overall user experience given the particular customer demographics and preference based on data collected. Customer identity shall at all times remain anonymous.
  6. Easy customer service.
  7. For sending alerts and notifications,“with prior consent of user/rider/merchant”.
  8. To invite users to events organized by the Company “with prior consent of user/rider/merchant”.
  9. Send customers promotional materials, special privileges, festive greetings, “with prior consent of user/rider/merchant”.
  10. To improve our social media based on customer feedback
  11. To improve our marketing strategy based on data collected from users such as demographics, behavior as consumer and individual preferences.
  12. To improve our algorithms.
  13. For application to insurance companies for claims against riders.
  14. To address Users’ complaints against the Participating Driver concerned.
  15. To help us detect abuse, fraud, and illegal activity on the Platform.
  16. To establish, exercise or defend legal claims in favor of or against GET Express.

III. Processing of Data:

For purposes and reasons stated under Section II and V hereof, GET Express Global Corp. can process User Data such as, but not limited to recording, organizing, storing, updating, modifying, retrieving, using, consolidating, blocking, erasing or destroying personal data.

Personal data shall remain stored in the application within (30days) from deactivation of account. Should there exist a legal or administrative action/proceeding against the user, personal data shall remain stored until termination of said proceedings.

We secure data we collect from the public. We do not sell, transfer or exchange data to other companies without consent. 

IV. Collection of data from Minors

We do not collect data from children younger than 13 years old.

VI. Use of Cookies

We use cookies to collect information and personalize your experience using our App. Cookies are small web files that a site or its provider transfers to the device’s internal drive through the User’s internet browser that enables the site’s or provider’s system to recognize that browser and remember certain information. We use Cookies to improve user convenience, for example, to recognize you when you return to the App and to remember information already provided, such as items already placed in your order cart. We also use Cookies to collect information and analyze user behavior on our website in order to improve our advertising and marketing strategy.
